4-day Balmoral Show hailed as great success

The Balmoral Show celebrated its 149th year with a record number of 115,000 visitors attending.

Hosted at Balmoral Park: The Maze outside Lisburn - the four-day event ran from Wednesday 10th – Saturday 13th May 2017.

Eventsec were responsible for managing security for the show including the main carpark (see below), entry search and event site. 

Among the guests who attended the show this year were the Prime Minister, Theresa May, and the DUP leader, Arlene Foster.  Royal Ulster Agricultural Society boss Colin McDonald commented on the new 4 day event as "a dream success".
